Scudetta BioTouch Elite AG Football Boots
Built on the same last and performance platform as the award-winning Scudetta, this new iteration focuses on improving comfort and feel without compromising the speed and responsiveness players expect.
The boot features a completely reworked upper made from Sokito's BioTouch material, designed to deliver a softer, plusher feel on foot while maintaining durability across the season.
The one-piece upper construction eliminates seams across the foot, creating a more consistent fit and reducing pressure points. The only join sits discreetly at the side of the heel.
Additional foam padding around the ankle and a stitch-and-turn collar provide extra softness and support around the Achilles, one of the most sensitive areas of the foot. Compared with the original Scudetta model, the fit also features slightly increased volume in the toe box to allow more natural movement and comfort.
The FG outsole retains its premium matte and gloss finish. A new stud has been added at the toe tip to improve traction during acceleration — a direct performance enhancement for explosive movements.
A reinforced shank provides additional structural support underfoot. The soleplate is made from 89% renewable carbon derived from castor beans, with an insole made from 64% sugarcane, helping reduce reliance on fossil-fuel plastics while maintaining elite-level performance.
Like the original Scudetta, the boot uses innovative materials derived from natural sources including corn waste, sugarcane, bamboo and castor beans. The final percentage of bio-based materials will be confirmed following final analysis with Shoebot, with the finished boot containing approximately 56% bio-based and recycled materials.
Colourway Inspiration
The Scudetta BioTouch Sapphire wasn't designed. It was found.
Working with a new bio-based upper material, our design team noticed something unusual - the material didn't sit flat. Depending on the angle, the light, the way you held it, it shifted. Three distinct colour worlds lived inside the same surface. One landed in green and brown territory - that became the Scudetta BioTouch Emerald. One moved toward purple - shelved (for now). And one settled into something deeper. Two blues, layered, living on top of each other. That one became the Sapphire.
It's not a colour that was chosen for a mood board. It's a colour that earned its name. There's a seriousness to the Sapphire shade - deep, composed, royal. The kind of blue that carries weight without heaviness. The kind of colour that belongs on pitch, under the lights, on the biggest stage in global football.
Small icon graphics placed across the boot reference the materials used in its construction, providing a visual nod to the natural sources that make up the boot's bio-based components.
